Gotland Viking chain

Gotland Viking chain, modeled after Viking Age finds from the Swedish island of Gotland and supplied with a ball made of genuine rock crystal.

The chain is made with a fox tail technique. Such fox tail chains with ends shaped like animal heads are quite common in archaeological finds from the Viking Age. The two expressive wolf heads on this Viking brooch chain were modeled after a Thor’s Hammer from Iceland and 'bite' into two small S-hooks, which are used to attach them to the brooches.

Total length of 30 cm and a thickness of 5 mm.The pendant measures 4.3 x 2.5 cm (including the ring).The rock crystal ball itself measures 22 mm, silver-plated bronze ring 15 mm in diameter.
