Fryd Viking Apron Dress

Evergreen Fryd Viking Apron dress, high quality fabric made with 100% wool, diamond twill weave.

• A lovely Viking Age apron dress for those who want historical round-stitched shoulder straps and a lovely fit. The dress has no visible seams.
  
• Fryd can also be worn for everyday use without turtle brooches.
  
• Can be combined with the Frøya viking linen dress or Frigg linen dress. Note that thay might have different size guides. The dresses must be purchased separately.
• Easy to put on and take off yourself. The dress has pleats at the back, inspired by  the fragments from the famous Køstrup dress found in Denmark, to ensure a perfect fit over the bust.
• The Fryd apron dress is usually worn with historical viking age turtle brooches, beads and brooches which are purchased separately.
• Diamond twill fabric was widely used in the Viking Age and we have finds of this in, among other things, the Oseberg grave. This weaving technique is beautiful up close and makes the fabric softer and more elastic.

Material

• 100% sheep wool, diamond twill weave

• Mulesing-free wool from South Africa

• Wash before use.  Wool program 30 degrees.  Dry flat.
