Frigg viking linen dress in 100% high-quality pre-washed linen.
Viking Age sark inspired by fragments from Pskov and Birka, made in lightweight linen with pleated neckline. This dress is decorated with a linen ribbon around the neckline that can be tied into a nice bow, or you can close the dress with a brooch so that the ribbon is hidden. In this way, you can also adjust how open you want the neckline to be.
We added historical square gussets under the sleeves, similar to the original fragments that have been found. It provides extra mobility around the arms and shoulders. This pattern is inspired by finds from Pskov, but we also have fragments of pleated textiles found in Sweden/Birka. The long version of this dress has gussets on each side for the best fit.
We made Frigg in two different lengths: regular and short. The regular size got two gussets, one on each side of the hips, for the optimal fit.
The dress is airy and made of thin/medium linen and is recommended to wear underneath an apron dress.
