Fager Viking Apron Dress

Our new viking apron dress is called Fager and is designed for anyone who wants an A-shaped loose and casual dress without elastic or other modern closures. Our most authentic dress inspired by the viking age to date! The pattern is based on interpretations of finds from Birka in Sweden in particular. The pattern is constructed from rectangular pieces of fabric that were widely used in the viking age and that give the dress a fantastic cut and fall.

The color burgundy is a timelessly elegant and cool red that symbolizes elegance and individuality. Goes great with black, white and natural colors.

The apron dress has two small loops in the front and two long ones from the back that goes over the shoulder and up to the oval turtle brooches. The long loops from the back are loose and must be fastened. We recommend putting on the oval turtle brooche before you put on the dress. The apron dress has two loops in each oval turtle brooche, one at the bottom and one at the top of the brooch. The loop from the front of the dress ends at the bottom of the brooch, and the shoulder loop ends at the top of the brooch.

Wash the dress before first use
Machine wash on wool program at 30 degrees
Do not tumble dry

Sizes

The wool dress matches all our Frøya linen dresses in size. If you are a L in Frøya, you are a L in Fager. Fager also matches the Frigg linen dress in size, but as it is very wide in the fit, you can also go down a whole size if you wish. 

If you are 70-85 cm around the bust, you are probably XS.
If you are 86-91 cm around the bust, you are probably S.
If you are 92-99 cm around the bust, you are probably M.
If you are 101-107 cm around the bust, you are probably L.
If you are 108-115 cm around the bust, you are probably XL.
If you are 116-123 cm around the bust, you are probably XXL.
If you are 124-130 cm around the bust, you are probably XXXL.
