The brand new Matilde riding skirt in recycled wool is the same classical design, but with recycled instead of new wool. The grey melange color matches perfectly with our Eira cape in grey melange. The original Klesarven riding skirt, Matilde, in comfy wool is worn and loved by equestrians across the globe!

The skirt is a wrap skirt for optimal fit; the waist is fully adjustable based on how many layers you choose to wear underneath. The riding skirt is classic, timeless, elegant, romantic, feminine, functional and beautiful! It has been tested to withstand the cold Scandinavian winters, and will keep both you and your horse warm and comfy, all year round. The wool is easy to keep clean, just shake off horse hair or dust, and hang it to air for a few hours. Our high quality natural wool fabric will last for generations and is both strong and durable. It is water repellent and will keep you warm even when it’s snowing.

The recycled wool is a great eco-friendly alternative! Klesarven's recycled wool is thoroughly quality controlled throughout the process. This saves energy and water which is needed to produce new wool.

Wool withstands rain to a certain point, snow and sleet. Even though you, the skirt and the horse can get a little wet on a long ride in bad weather, the wool still keeps you warm due to the high absorbency.

Size guide Matilde riding skirt - remember that the skirts are highly adjustable. You choose the size based on your waist measurement. S long suits you over 165 cm, M long you over 170 cm - or you who want an extra long skirt! Note that this skirt is produced with more length in the front, and a few cm extra on the side compared to the riding skirts in new wool, as we are experimenting a bit with more fabric to cover the legs.
