Beautiful apron dress with open sides from the waist and down. The dress is closed over the chest and has double straps inspired by finds from the Viking Age. This apron dress is great when you want to show off more of the dress underneath/the sark. The dress has both a more everyday feel than Anna and Draum, but can definitely be decorated for a party! Our customers use the dresses for both national holidays, , weddings, Christmas as well as viking events 🌸 Klesarven design.
This dress has no drawstring or elastic. You need some extra incisions if you want it adapted to your shapes. To mark the waist, belts are used. But it is not necessary. The dress is beautiful when it hangs freely, hence the name hangarock dress which is also used for describing the apron dresses.
This dress has double straps over each shoulder. A recommendation is to fasten the straps on the front of the dress with either a seam or for example a safety pin on the back so it is easier to fasten the turtle brooches in either one of the straps or both. Then you have the dress adapted to your length for the next use.
Easy to put on and take off. Material: 80% wool, 20% nylon. The fabric pattern used in the dress is a well-known woven pattern called diamond twill. Found in the Oseberg ship, among other places!
