Nothing says Viking age women’s clothing like an apron dress. This particular example is based on finds from Hedeby and illustrations from Shelagh Lewins. However, the design has been slightly modified in order to give the dress a little more width and a better fit around the chest. Although not a feature of the originals we have added laces in the back so the wearer can adjust the fit to their liking.
Anna is made from 20% wool and is a soft and comfortable dress you can wear all year round. 20 % wool, 60 % Polyacrylic, 20 % Polyester
The linen underdress is not included.
The fit is a little on the small side. If you’re between sizes or in doubt, go up a size.
